GRAPE VARIETIES. Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, and Merlot.
PRODUCTION PROCESS. Passione Assoluta is a red wine in the Veronese style, expressing love and passion for traditions. This wine is medium-bodied, fruity, with elegant and velvety tannins, featuring the delicate roundness of Merlot. Notes of ripe fruits and berries. After a slow fermentation, the wine is aged for an additional 6 months in oak barrels.
COLOUR. Intense purple ruby.
NOSE. Spicy, with notes of plum and cherry, along with a hint of raspberry.
PALATE. The complex aromas range from vanilla and spicy notes to fruity flavours such as blackberry and plum.
SERVING. Decant at least one hour before serving. Serve in large, deep glasses.
FOOD PAIRINGS. Excellent with most red meats, grilled or braised, as well as with pasta in stew. Ideal as a house wine.
