Grenache noir and syrah, this red Vacqueyras wine from Domaine Saint Pierre reveals aromas of cherry and blackberry on a backdrop of garrigue. The power felt in the mouth is tempered by round and silky tannins, which blend into a long finish subtly flavoured with liquorice. Serve at 16°C with red meat.
