GRAPES: Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, and Merlot.
PRODUCTION PROCESS: Passione Assoluta is a Veronese-style red wine, expressing a love and passion for tradition. This wine is medium-bodied, fruity, with elegant, velvety tannins and the delicate roundness of Merlot. Notes of ripe fruit and berries. After slow fermentation, the wine is aged for an additional 6 months in oak barrels.
COLOR: Intense ruby-purple.
NOSE: Spicy, with notes of plum and cherry, with a hint of raspberry.
TASTE: Complex aromas range from vanilla and spicy notes to fruity flavors such as blackberry and plum.
SERVING: Decant at least one hour before serving. Serve in large, deep glasses.
WINE PAIRING: Excellent with most red meats, grilled or braised, as well as pasta stews. Ideal as a house wine.
